20 students competed in the 2011 Buffalo News Spelling Bee on March 6th at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society. The top 5 winners of that competition are:

Nabeel Rahman and his parents will travel to Washington, DC, to represent The Buffalo News in the National Bee the week of May 29.
