Now I Get It! Reinforces a positive and relevant lifetime reading habit in students by engaging them with an authentic text - the newspaper. Activities in the teacher's guide are designed to help students improve their reading comprehension. The teacher controls the difficulty of each activity through individual selection of newspaper texts for each activity. Each newspaper section contains its own text structures, which are predictable. When students become familiar with text structures, they will have better control over them and will find it easier to read the newspaper.

Literacy Adult Basic Education.Instructors who teach basic reading, writing and life skills to adults will enjoy this 68-page curriculum guide.
